Fish Fry Bingo will be here this Saturday at the Revolver Brewery Tour. Just to clarify since we have received phone calls on this. No, we are not having a fish fry; nor are we playing bingo. The band Fish Fry Bingo will be here for your listening enjoyment. However, we think a fish fry with bingo is in order in the future (with the band of course). We will also have Big Tony here serving his fresh Texas Barbeque.

We are always looking for volunteers to help pour. Please email our Master brewer – grant.wood@revolverbrewing.com if you are interested! A big ‘Thank You’ to everyone who has volunteered!

We received some nice press from coverage of last weekend’s Untapped Festival in Fort Worth. Links are below. I have quoted the parts about Revolver for those unlucky people that actually have stuff to do today:

“Top 5 beer experiences: Rahr's Cheech, Armadillo Ale's Quakertown Stout, Revolver's Cinnamon Girl, Ballast Point Bourbon Barrel Aged Sea Monster and the Shiner I had at a bar post fest.”

Beer bucket list: 10 brews from Untapped Festival to help you brave summer heat:

“Revolver Brewing’s Sidewinder — Folks at Untapped received a yet-to-be-released treat from the Granbury-based brewery. Sidewinder is a Southwestern Pale Ale bursting with fruity flavors and notes of honey. This brew boasts 6 percent ABV and finishes dry, similar to champagne, so it doesn’t weigh you down in the heat.”

“The party actually began on Friday night at The Live Oak Music Hall & Lounge where four bands—The Unlikely Candidates, Memphis Dawls, Daniel Hart and Air Review—kicked off the festivities with a series of evening showcases. With a great tap list, it was hard not to get started on the beer side of things that first night, as well (including our IPA Challenge winner Firestone Walker Union Jack, and a local discovery—Revolver Brewing’s Blood and Honey).”
