We are doing our part to keep Austin weird. Starting next Monday, do you know what will be really weird? Seeing Revolver Brewing taps in our State’s capitol. It has been a long time coming but we will now have limited availability in Austin. Our Austin brethren and sistren will now be able to find said Revolver beer without a 7-hour round trip to DFW or relying on an awesome friend headed South on I-35. To get you in the know, here is a list of the Austin events and venues:
Craft Pride: Monday (11/11) Launch event starts at 7p and will go until they close. They will feature Blood and Honey, Bock and Sidewinder.
Hi Hat Public House: Tuesday (11/12) Second launch event starts at 6p-8p. They will feature Blood and Honey and Sidewinder.
Draught House Pub & Brewers
Bangers Beer Garden
Black Star Co-op
Flying Saucer Draught Emporium
The Ginger Man
Hi Hat Public House
Austin Ale House
Opal Divine’s Marina
Don’t forget…Mullet Cutter our new limited-release 1st year anniversary beer will be on tap at World of Beer Dallas tonight (Thurs, 7-9pm) and the Flying Saucer Fort Worth tomorrow (Fri, 4pm on).
This weekend Revolver will be playing a ‘home’ and an ‘away’ game. At home, we will feature the Maurice Davis Band at the Saturday brewery tour event, which runs from noon to 3pm. It will be held at the brewery of course – it makes it easier to do the tour. Yaters Caters will be there!
Our away game is the Brewvolution Beer Festival held at Fair Park in Dallas. We will be there at what is basically the opening ceremonies for North Texas Beer Week.
I would like to use this parting shot to wish you all a Happy North Texas Beer Week. As a State, we are making great strides in the availability of good craft beer. Cheers Texans.
