Feels even silly to ask the question: Do you want to see a cool picture of bacon? Yes, of course, says everyone.

So Ronnie (aka "Ironhead") was making breakfast the other day - with the help of some barnyard friends. The hen had made her contribution. The pig had made his commitment (moment of silence) and...low and behold the swine fates shone down on this beauty. Look familiar? (Hint for the cranially unendowed: It looks like our logo knucklehead!)

Consider this to be our official entry for the "Top 10 Bacon Photos of 2014". If you happened to miss last year's list, put down that quinoa and reclaimed sawdust wrap and check it out here:

Come out to the tour tomorrow to get other great eats from Big Tony's BBQ.

Zach Seth Band will be on stage and the weather is shaping up to be perfect.

One final note: We have our first limited edition release, an aged beer, coming out soon. More details to come next week!

Do not forget that this Sunday is Mother’s day. It’s not too late to get her something special in case you had forgotten your lovely Mother, who loves you and wouldn't forget about you. Let’s be honest, she deserves something great. Only she knows just exactly how terrible you were as a child. She probably is the keeper of all those blackmail photos of you in the tub as a baby so you don’t want to make her upset. If she is already planning on coming out tomorrow for the tour then accompany her, she would love that. If she doesn't have plans yet, bring her out… after all, you are the reason she drinks.

Speaking of “Ma’s”: Jack Ma, a Chinese Internet entrepreneur, just announced plans this week for what is likely to be the largest tech IPO of all time. But even though you won't make billions (BILLIONS) this week, your Momma still loves you. Even if she tells her friends otherwise.

The Revolver Brewery tour is every Saturday from noon to 3. This weekend we are excited to have HR & the Service Reps back on stage and Big Tony will be catering.

Cheers to great moms everywhere.

So this Saturday is not technically the 5th of May but since the earth is about 4.5 billion years old we are only off by about .0000000001%, if my math is correct. And it’s never really too early to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

For those of you that “got to Texas as quickly as you could”, Cinco de Mayo is observed as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride. Not to be confused with Mexican Independence Day, Cinco de Mayo marks the Mexican army's victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.

In 2005 the U.S. Congress issued a Concurrent Resolution calling on the President to issue a proclamation calling upon the people of the United States to observe Cinco de Mayo with appropriate ceremonies and activities**. So do your duty, people, and come out this Saturday from noon to three to celebrate appropriately. We will have The Venetian Sailors on stage and Big Tony serving up his awesome bites.

It's Friday and if you haven't started making your plans to come out to our weekly Saturday Brewery tour, now would be the appropriate time. It's going to be a big day.

Come out tomorrow noon to three. It's a special treat for us to have Green Light Pistol back out on stage. If you haven't seen them yet you are not living your life to the fullest.

Built around charismatic fiddle prodigy, Brook Wallace, and the alternative influences of Chad Fincher, Green Light Pistol is part high octane Texas Folk and part Indie Rock. The majority sibling band has been drawing much attention the past year winning two major battle of the bands competitions, including the 2013 Shiner Rising Star Competition. The band will be 100% family the day of their April 26th Revolver appearance, as Sally and Chad are getting married the day before. They will begin recording their newest album the day after the honeymoon in Hawaii. So come out and catch them while we can still afford them.

Big Tony will be catering with his basically famous BBQ to accompany your beer.

See you tomorrow.

Saturday is shaping up to be another perfect day to head out to the brewery. From noon 3:00 we will have the Hazardous Dukes on stage, which got us to thinking about the Dukes of Hazzard… the original show - not the remake. Here are a few fun facts we dug up. Most people know that Waylon Jennings both wrote/sang the theme song, but also narrated the show. Did you know Catherine Bach’s legs were reportedly insured for $1,000,000 (that would be one million)? Did you know that over half of the fan mail for the show was actually addressed to the General Lee? Speaking of cars, it has been rumored that over 300 police cars were destroyed in making the series.

Nothing against moonshine but if you prefer a cold, fresh beer, come see us. We will have Yaters Caters here to give you some great eats to accompany your brew.

Coming to you live from 35,000 feet... Retail Awesomeness. So the backstory is that we are flying to the CBC in Denver. That would be the Craft Brewers Conference. Don't give me that smirk. This is serious face business. Seriously.

So I am in my seat. The flight attendants have now taken away all the fun gadgets. I am the epitome of a captive audience. It's not lost on me that we are flying magically, but that passes soon. What to do?...What to do? And then I do it. I have a brief lapse and reach for the Sky Mall catalog. I am not sure what I expected but who knew the wondrous surprises tucked in those pages of high altitude retailing.

I mean everyone knows of the big blue wedge that allows you to sleep on planes (although I challenge anyone to find one in the wild). I am talking taking shopping to the next level. Do you know that you can buy a Roomba style robot that will clean your grill? Too tame for you? How about a skeleton version of the yard gnome? Done that? Ok, how about a squirrel with a helmet and climbing harness? What genius has brought this into our realm? And better yet, who buys this form of high culture?

Preparing for landing. Getting evil eye from airplane helper. Gotta go. We'll keep you apprised of any critical beer breakthroughs, award winning PowerPoint presentations, etc. at the CBC. Serious as a squirrel wearing a helmet....

Join us at our tour this Saturday from noon to 3pm. We have the Tarleton Jazz Ensemble gracing us with their presence and Yaters Caters will be here with their delicious BBQ, tacos and frito pies. Don't miss it, the weather is shaping up to be a perfect Saturday.

It’s Friday already and if that’s not good enough news in itself we are excited to announce that we are releasing our summer seasonal Sidewinder at our Brewery Tour tomorrow! "Who said what?", you ask...Sidewinder is our delicious pale ale brewed with agave nectar, tangy citrus, flaked maize and a magical blend of spices. You're a wizard Harry!

If you like fresh beer, Sidewinder was kegged today in anticipation of this warmer weather. How is that for fresh?   uy[p;l’okijkuhgyftrd ß   Sorry, I may or may not have had to wipe the drool off of my keyboard.

Speaking of, we are anticipating perfect weather for our tour tomorrow. Another great reason not to miss out on the festivities. For those who love our winter seasonal, Mother's Little Fracker, fear not Frackers. We will have both on tap tomorrow.

Our Saturday Brewery Tour runs from noon to 3pm. If you haven’t been out yet, this is the moment where you make plans to do so. We will have Kevin Aldridge & the Appraisers creating great music on stage and Big Tony will be catering with his mouth watering BBQ. This is not a weekend to miss.

We are very proud to be featured in this month’s issue of Draft magazine. You can read the article here:

Come see the actual site of the photo shoot of our three male supermodels. They say the camera adds ten pounds, I just don’t recall that many cameras being present during the shoot. Ba dum tssshhh!

As usual, our Saturday Brewery Tour event starts at noon and runs until 3pm. We will have the very talented Christa Russell & the Bad Habit on stage to expand your horizons and Yaters Caters to expand your waistline.

The uneasiness started about Tuesday. By Wednesday, in full Olympic Withdrawals. Feeling better today, but why must you go, pigeon-roasting flame? Some hard-nuts may blow off the Olympics as a mega-brand assimilation session, but they still get to me. Don’t tell me as a kid you didn’t run around the house imagining your own gold medal victory, crushing the World’s best athletes in your path.

What is amazing now is the time difference between a shiny medal and emotional problems. How do you live with training your whole damn life to lose by one one-hundredth of a second? It’s like now (actually much shorter than that). It is hard to fathom how little time that is. Oh well, at least everybody got a free stray dog. They should have a warning halfway through each race to alert those that have no chance of winning. At least they would have time to get creative and go out in a blaze of glory. “Man, look at that ski-pole air guitar mastery, what a champ!” No medal, but you live in highlight reel infamy.

So unless you are staying home in DVR denial, we are offering an Olympics Recovery Program at the brewery this weekend. You get a Revolver glass, live music, sunshine and beers for $10 USA money or 362 Rubles (I dare you. We will take them). The band will be H.R. & The Service Reps. Food will be vended by Yater’s Caters (chicken & beef fajitas, pulled pork sandwiches, and ‘Merican Frito Pies).

BTW, how creepy was Vladimir Putin? It was like he was having a staring contest with everyone there. I guess he is just not happy with his shirt on. (KGB to show up here in 5, 4, 3, 2,
